Refund Policy

Quick Summary
Because our products are digital downloads delivered immediately, all sales are final. We offer a replacement or refund only if (a) the product was never delivered, or (b) the product is completely different from what was described on the product page.
1. All Sales Are Final
All Products sold through the GRCadia Store are digital downloads delivered electronically and immediately upon successful payment. Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final and non-refundable once the Product has been made available for download.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the product description, framework coverage, and file format information on the product page and that the product meets your requirements. You further acknowledge that you confirmed this review via the required checkbox during checkout.
2. Limited Exceptions
Consistent with the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (CPA), we will provide a replacement or full refund only in the following two situations:
2.1 Product Not Delivered
If you completed payment but the Product was never made available for download due to a technical failure on our end, and we are unable to resolve the delivery issue within a reasonable timeframe (typically 48 hours), we will issue a full refund.
Time limit: Request must be submitted within 14 days of purchase.
2.2 Product Completely Different from Description
If the delivered Product is fundamentally and materially different from the description on the product page — for example, you purchased an ISO 27001 template but received a HIPAA template, or the product page described a Word document but you received a completely different file type — we will provide the correct Product or issue a full refund.
Time limit: Request must be submitted within 14 days of purchase.
Note: Minor variations, formatting differences, or subjective dissatisfaction with the level of detail or quality do not qualify under this exception.
3. Corrupted or Unreadable Files
If you receive a file that is corrupted, unreadable, or cannot be opened with standard software, contact us and we will send a replacement file promptly. This does not constitute a refund — it is a replacement delivery of the same Product. No refund will be issued for corrupted files as long as a working replacement is provided.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
To be clear, the following situations do not qualify for a refund:
- You changed your mind after purchasing
- The Product does not meet your subjective expectations of quality or detail
- You purchased the wrong product by mistake (please review carefully before checkout)
- You found a similar or cheaper product elsewhere
- Your organization decided not to pursue the compliance framework
- You did not read the product description before purchasing
- Duplicate purchases (check your account downloads before re-purchasing)
- Inability to customize the templates to your specific needs (Products are starting points that require customization)
- Expectation that templates guarantee regulatory compliance (see Terms of Service Section 9)
5. How to Request a Replacement or Refund
If you believe you qualify under Section 2, email us at support@grcadia.com with the subject line "Refund Request — [Order Number]" and include:
- Your order number or the email address used at purchase
- The product name
- A description of the issue (non-delivery or mismatch with product description)
- Screenshots if applicable
We will review your request and respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method through Stripe. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
6. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account and revoke access to all purchased Products pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us directly — we are happy to resolve any legitimate concerns.
7. Legal Basis
This refund policy complies with the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (CPA) and applies to business-to-business (B2B) digital product transactions. By requiring a company or organization name at registration, all transactions on the GRCadia Store are classified as B2B. Consumer cooling-off periods under the CPA do not apply to B2B transactions for digital products delivered immediately where the buyer has been clearly informed prior to purchase.
